SOMA is a sanctuary of sound, movement, and healing arts a space where deep rest, connection, and transformation unfold through vibration, breath and flow in Reading Berkshire.

My name is Lorena and I am Moon Child..

Yoga, Meditation, and Sound aren’t just practices for me—they’re a way of life.

They’ve supported me through challenges, helped me feel more at home in my body, and given me a deep sense of freedom and self-discovery. Through these practical tools, I continue to learn, grow, and connect more deeply with myself and the world around me.

Yoga has been woven into my life since childhood, a constant thread guiding me home to myself.

With a deep love for the practice, it felt only natural to step onto the path of teaching.

In 2015, I completed my first training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, opening the door to sharing this beautiful practice with others. My journey didn’t stop there—teaching led me to continued learning, deepening my understanding of movement, breath, and energy. In 2020, I completed my second training, becoming a certified Anusara Elements™ Yoga Teacher, further enriching my offerings with heart-centered alignment and flow. Each class I teach is a space for exploration, connection, and self-discovery—an invitation to move with grace, breathe with awareness, and find stillness within.

Working with me is an invitation to soften, restore, and reconnect with yourself on a profound level. Through the transformative power of sound, meditation, Reiki, and other healing modalities, I create experiences that gently guide you back to balance—where ease, flow, and inner strength naturally emerge.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to release tension, dissolve limiting patterns, and nurture both body and mind. Whether for individuals or organizations, I craft customised experiences that honour your unique rhythm and needs, offering a space where you feel held, supported, and deeply replenished.

This is more than just a practice—it’s a return to your essence, where strength meets serenity, and self-care becomes a sacred ritual.

Why SOMA?: The Essence of Sound, Oneness, Movement & Well-being Arts

Rooted in ancient wisdom, SOMA represents a sacred connection between body, mind, and spirit. In Greek, soma (σῶμα) means "body," signifying the importance of embodiment, presence, and movement as a pathway to wholeness. In Sanskrit, soma refers to the divine nectar of bliss—an elixir that awakens vitality, serenity, and deep nourishment and also a name for the moon, symbolising softness, intuition, and the ever-flowing cycles of renewal.

Inspired by these meanings, SOMA weaves together Sound, Oneness, Movement, and Well-being Arts—a holistic approach to self-care and transformation. Through sound meditation, fluid movement, and mindful practices, my offerings invite you to experience a state of effortless flow, inner harmony, and embodied connection.
